Beleaf officially started as a company in 2022, but the idea behind it for me was probably in the making for as long as I can remember. Growing up as somewhat of a sensitive child, I could not use most common skincare products because they contained harsh chemicals and fragrances that irritated my skin. Luckily, as my parents were both born and raised in India and grew up using traditional Indian Ayurvedic alternatives to soap, shampoo, and moisturizers they were able to apply those on me to which my skin and body responded very well. These early experiences engrained a firm belief in me that nature held the cure to many of our problems -especially our physical health and wellbeing

We now also know through studies that over a long period of time, the ingredients used in most common skincare and household products pose varying detrimental effects on the human body. Hormone disruption, reproductive issues, cancer, and developmental toxicity, are just to name a few - the list sadly goes on. 

That's why I founded Beleaf. I believe everyone should have access to products that are good quality, affordable, natural, and free of harsh chemicals and toxins - whether it is on our bodies or in our homes! 

​Moreover, our products are eco-friendly, safe for the earth, and zero waste - made and packaged plastic-free. It is important to me that we be responsible for protecting and taking care of the planet we live on and therefore wanted to create a line of products anyone will feel good about using.
